What ages is this event geared toward?
The Halloween Hike is geared toward preK - 5th grade children -- younger and older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! The hike is full of family fun with no scaary surprises!
No need to pre-register!
Walk-ins are welcome! Just show up between 1 and 3 pm and enjoy a 30 minute experience including the 1/8 mile hike to see costumed characters and get lots of candy and the refreshments and entertainment!
How will the hike work?
Pre-registered families: plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time. At-the-door registrations: arrive between 1:00 and 2:45 pm to join the hike. Groups leave every 10 minutes. The trail is about 1/8 mile - large wheeled strollers should work good but small wheeled strollers may struggle. We anticipate your experience will last 20-30 minutes.
Should we wear Halloween costumes?
Yes! Halloween's about dress up fun! And don't forget to bring your trick or treat bags to collect candy!
Will the building be open to use the restrooms??
The event will take place outdoors but the buildings will be open for restroom use.
