Friendship Church is pressing pause on in-person Sunday services for Nov. 22, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6. We will resume in-person ministry on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Our Covid Response Task Force made this decision Thursday morning. We are cooperating with the current 3 week shut down, and considerate of the number of persons who are recovering or isolating because of possible exposure. We do not have information that indicates community spread of the virus related to our in-person worship services. We are thankful to all our attenders for their care in mask wearing and social distancing.
We will continue to premiere Sunday Services on Facebook at 9:00 and 10:45 that will be available 24/7 on demand on our website.
By this time next week we will publish a robust menu of ministry offerings (individual, online, and in person - for adults, students, and children) to inspire you and support your personal faith, and to engage you in ministry in the church and region.
Step one is to join our very special Thanksgiving service online this Sunday. Plan ahead, set an alarm, and make sure you "comment" in the service so others know you are there. Get in touch with people you used to see at church, find out how they are doing, and set up a watch party with your life group or ministry area..
This does not have to be a long dark winter. Next week, I want to tell you about how we can do this shutdown/covid response far better than before.
